Bank of the Republic of Haiti Building (La Banque de la Republique d’Haiti)

The Bank of the Republic of Haiti is the central bank in charge of the monetary and financial administration of the country.

In the year 2014 the Bank of the Republic of Haiti decided to expand its facilities and planned the construction of a new operational center. The building has offices, parking and a conference room with a capacity of over 1,000 people.

In this project, Ingeniería Metálica was contracted for the fabrication and installation of all steel framing for the building. Within this construction, the design and elaboration of the 850 m² curved roofs of the building, which has cross support in three-dimensional reticular structures of 30 meters in length, without intermediate supports.
